Bridgeport. Octagon House. Built in 1914 by James Kinney for use by his daughter, and originally located in Mansfield, WA. Located at 600 12th Street. Eight almost identical bedrooms on the second floor. Moved from Dyer Hill to its present location at some point.

Seattle. The John Nations octagon House. Built in or before 1878. Later owned by G. Root. Two story. A segment of an 1878 map of Seattle shows the house at the center of the image. Located on 1st Avenue - previously Front Street - and Virginia.

Long Beach. Round hotel. The Portland Hotel. Built in the 1880s. Burned in 1914. Built by the Hanniman family near the north end of the train depot.

Liberty Lake. Octagon house or cottage. Located at 1927 South Liberty Drive. Built by a merchant marine referred to as "The Captain," possibly as a retirement dwelling, possibly around 1900. As assessor page suggests 1935. Once had a widows walk on the roof. The bedroom has the orginal knotty pine, floor to ceiling. The original staircase, with a rope, still exists too. It appears to have several additions.
