• Near Haines. Octagon lighthouse building. Eldred Rock Light. Built in 1905. Located on Sullivan Island, Lynn Canal.

• Metlakatla. The Rev. Wm. Duncan octagon house. Built around 1891. Located on Annette Island. Duncan arrived in 1887 and built schools, a church, and other buildings. He died in 1913. The church is possibly a decagon, and has gables on each side.
